Creative Arts

As a Whole Child Education school, we embrace not only academics, but strive to give our students many opportunities in creative arts. Music class is an opportunity for students to enjoy and experience many forms of music, singing, and dance, including both Indonesian and Balinese content.

 In Grades 1 – 3, NBBS focuses on the use of a Pianica, a simple instrument all students can be successful at. As part of their program, grades 4 – 6, have a unique “bucket band” program. As well, for all students, a variety of musical instruments, including traditional Balinese instruments will be introduced and experimented with.

Experiencing visual arts is not only in the form of weekly classes, but through project-based learning, and school events, students have many creative chances to draw, paint, or build projects for class use and for display.
